Biography
Sam Carr is a teaching professional currently based at Walmley Golf Club in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. In July 2008 Sam graduated from Birmingham University with an honours degree in Applied Golf Management Studies (AGMS). This is a highly sought after degree and one which Sam is very proud to represent.
This degree is the highest level of Professional Golfers Association (PGA) qualification which encompasses both PGA training and academic aspects. Reading AGMS has made Sam aware of the importance of a holistic approach to golf coaching. Therefore, Sam’s coaching skills go much further that just swing mechanics but also encompass golf (sport) psychology, nutrition and sport science. These three disciplines enable a total coaching experience to be delivered to any level of golfer.
